Through a captivating presentation of shirt collars in hues of pink and purple, intricately woven to resemble bruised skin, the artwork honors victims while shedding light on their often dismissed suffering. This evocative portrayal not only captures the external scars but also delves into the internal turmoil caused by sexism, symbolizing the emotional wounds carried by women. During the activation, two performers embody 'plañideras' - mourners, resurrecting an ancient profession to externalize the hidden anguish suffered by women.
