KOPFANGST AT KRAFTHAUS

KOPFANGST is an installation-performance that explores the thoughts that trap, suffocate, and drain us. Through a mask made of black gloves, the piece materializes the weight of overthinking and the burden that both personal and imposed problems exert on the mind and body. 

During the performance, the figure interacts with six suspended spheres —each representing a pillar of life: love, friendship, family, work, money, and health— that swing and respond to the body’s movements. This choreography recreates the experience of dealing with problems: they push, destabilize, and remind us that even the invisible has presence and weight.

The work invites viewers to confront the intangible, to feel the vulnerability of thoughts that pursue us, and to recognize that falling is not surrender, but a necessary step toward rising again. KOPFANGST transforms the psychological into the physical, offering a space to reflect on strength, resilience, and the universality of our inner struggles.
