In this workshop, we will explore the creative possibilities of upcycling and zero waste as tools for experimental expression. Working with small textile scraps and fragments—materials that carry the traces and experiences of many hands—we will reuse them as emotional matter to create symbolic portraits.

Through color, texture, and composition, participants will learn to re-signify these fabrics, transforming them into new personal narratives: emotional landscapes that express mood, identity, or the feelings they wish to inhabit.

Once their compositions are complete, we will explore different ways to interpret and bring them to life—from wearable accessories to textile art pieces—revealing the versatility and expressive potential of these woven fragments of memory.
